Drive Imaging Software
DrvImagerXP
DrvImagerXP makes backups (image files) of NTFS and FAT32 drive
partition structures (as well as floppy disks), for the Windows 2000/XP
operating systems, by copying, byte-for-byte, the drive partition sectors.
Requires Windows 2000 or XP.
DrvClonerXP
DrvClonerXP clones NTFS and FAT32 drive partitions, for the Windows
2000/XP operating systems, by copying, byte-for-byte, the drive
partition's structure to another partition, creating a perfect duplicate,
without creating an intermediate image file (as with DrvImagerXP).
Requires Windows 2000 or XP.
Drive Maintenance Software
DrvCareXP
DrvCareXP is a program, written in C#, that makes the chore of caring
for your drives easier. The program uses existing XP system utilities to
clean, scan for errors, and defragment your drives.
Runs in Windows 2000 or XP.
Requires Microsoft .NET Framework. This can be downloaded from the
Microsoft web site here (20MB).
Forensics/Data Recovery Software
SectorSpyXP/98
SectorSpyXP/98 examines all data on a hard drive or diskette, at the
sector level. Use SectorSpyXP/98 forensically to find and retrieve
incriminating evidence. Retrieve lost information, text that has been
deleted and removed from the recycle bin, but not found by other file
retrieval programs.
Supported on Windows 95/98/NT3.51/NT4.0/ME/2000/XP operating
systems.
DrvClonerXP
DrvClonerXP (described above) can be used to clone a hard drive.
Registry Software
RegScrubXP
RegScrubXP cleans junk out of the Windows 2000/XP system registry.
All changes made to the registry are fully restorable to it's original
condition.
