Euro slides on MICEX on dollar's rise

The weighted average euro exchange rate closed at 33.97 RUR/EUR at this morning's special euro trading session for today deals. This rate is RUR0.01 below the official euro exchange rate set by the Bank of Russia for October 2. At the previous trading session the euro lost RUR0.05. The euro is sliding on MICEX (profile, press releases) as the dollar advances on international exchanges. The euro was trading at USD1.2674 at midday, down by 0.05 percent from USD1.2680 at this time at the previous session.
